How to visit

Gunsight HawkWatch’s season runs from March 10th – May 15th and opperates from 9 AM – 5 PM every day, weather permitting. You do not need to make a reservation in advance unless you are an organized group of 6 or more.

Species you may see

The site is known for high numbers of Harlan’s Red-tailed Hawks, Rough-legged Hawks, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Northern Harriers, and American Goshawks.
