Jessica started her raptor journey as a member of the Washington State University Raptor Club while earning a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology from WSU. After visiting the Chelan Ridge HawkWatch on a field trip she was inspired by the migration magic and knew she had found her calling. Jessica’s passion for raptors has since lead her all around the western United States. She started working for HawkWatch International as a crewmember during the fall migration of 2014 and as a seasonal field technician in 2016. Jessica joined the team in Salt Lake City in 2019 and is excited to be continuing her journey with raptor conservation at HWI.
Jessica is also passionate about reading, video games, tacos and just being outside.
