Chris joined HawkWatch International in 2021. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with degrees in Education and History. A stint at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory in St. Paul, MN, cemented his love of teaching people and talking about animals. This led to a cross-country move to Utah to work in the education department at Hogle Zoo and eventually at HawkWatch International. Chris’ favorite teaching opportunities are with special and diverse needs groups. In his free time, Chris likes spending time with the people and animals he loves and exploring the outdoors. He also enjoys playing and watching rugby, playing board games and Dungeons & Dragons, and taking a good nap.
