Loralie grew up on a farm in western Colorado where her conservation ethics were born. She worked for the Bureau of Land Management as a Range Assistant and also fought wildland fires. She briefly worked in the health insurance industry, before finding her career of choice working for a nonprofit land conservation organization in Grand Junction, Colorado for 11 years. Loralie moved to Utah in 2012 and worked for another local nonprofit group in Salt Lake City before connecting with HawkWatch International.
Loralie is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys sharing that passion with others. In her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, swimming, biking, running, and spending time with her family, including a very sweet granddaughter and three Labradors!
