In the fall of 2016, ecologist and storyteller Charles Post and photographers/videographers Max Lowe and Forest Woodard joined our migration crews at our Goshute and Manzano HawkWatch sites to experience the wonder that is raptor migration.

“We felt inspired by what we had seen: beautiful birds that we banded and released and a community of dedicated, free-spirited stewards committed to interpreting the barometer of our hemisphere’s health.”—Charles Post

After visiting our sites, the team created Sky Migrations, a short documentary to share the story of this incredible natural phenomenon. The film was selected to join the 2017 Banff Film Festival, and we are excited to announce that it will now be screened during the 2017/2018 Banff Film Festival World Tour!

Ready to see the film? Check it out as it comes to a town near you across the United States, Canada, and many international locations. You can also view the trailer below.
