We are excited to share with you that our whole staff is fully vaccinated! With this new development, we have elected to return to some of our pre-pandemic programming. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we paused our long-term monitoring efforts at 5 of our migrations sites and asked our incredible network of volunteers to stay home. The health and safety of our staff and supporters has always been our priority. As a scientific organization, it is important to us that we follow research-backed guidelines to keep our community safe. With the current guidelines set in place by the CDC, as well as by state and local government agencies, we have begun cautiously walking on the path to create a new “normal.”
As part of this new “normal," we have begun bringing back in-person education programming! Seeing our Raptor Ambassadors in person is one of the most impactful experiences we offer. We are so excited to be able to bring this opportunity back to the community. If you are interested in hosting an in-person program, you can schedule one of our programs here. In addition, we will continue to offer virtual programming as an accessible option for those with limitations that make attending in-person programs difficult and for those of you who don’t live near our headquarters in Utah.
Additionally, we are excited to welcome both our staff and volunteers back into the field and reopen all migration sites! We are looking forward to progressing our research, continuing our monitoring, and bringing community science back to our communities!
We would also like to note our mask policies. As long as all staff members are comfortable, staff can elect to go maskless in the field. For our in-person programming we do ask that participants wear masks and continue to practice social distancing.
Thank you for your continued support through these turbulent times. If you have questions about our policies, please contact us at . We look forward to seeing some of you in person again very soon!
