DESCRIPTION:Winter poses significant challenges for Golden Eagles\, including reduced food availability and increased competition. In Utah’s West Desert\, HawkWatch International and the Department of Defense have undertaken a winter feeding research project to investigate whether providing carrion during the winter months helps stabilize population levels.
