SUMMARY:Arizona Cavity Adopting Raptor Ecology Studies (CARES) Volunteer Kick-off
DESCRIPTION:HawkWatch International (HWI) is looking for community scientists! \nThrough our Cavity Adopting Raptor Ecology Studies (CARES)\, we monitor hundreds of nest boxes built to house Western Screech-owls\, American Kestrels\, and more across diverse landscapes. Community scientists will be assigned a box (or several!) to monitor throughout the nesting season.  \nIf you live in the Tucson\, AZ area\, this session is for you! Although attendance is not required for returning community scientists\, the information sessions will be a great opportunity to hear more about updates on the program and ask questions you might have. We’ll also have light refreshments\, and it’s a perfect opportunity to connect with the biologists and other people on our CARES community science team. If you can’t make it in person\, we will also have a recorded version available. \nPlease sign up here if you plan to attend in person or would like the recording. The address will be sent once your attendance is confirmed. \n
