Raptor conservation depends on people. People like you and people like our Raptor Conservation Interns—passionate, early-career conservationists looking to learn the skills they need to help these birds for future generations.

But getting started in this field can be challenging. Opportunities can be scarce and come with little compensation yet demanding schedules.

HWI’s Raptor Conservation Internship program increases the capacity and impact of our research efforts, helping us conserve even more raptors today. More importantly, by providing early-career conservation professionals with hands-on experience, we’re giving them the skills to be able to conserve the raptors of tomorrow.
