Our Work

HWI tracks the issues and threats affecting raptors, and takes conservation action based on the best available data and scientific research. HWI's scientists partner with federal and local government agencies, land owners, and other stakeholders to collaborate and develop innovative approaches to protect raptors and their habitats, while meeting the changing needs of people and our shared environment. Public awarness is a critical piece of good policy and conservation planning, and to that end HWI works to engage the public through educational programs, outdoor workshops, field trips and citizen science volunter opportunities.

As stewards of our lands, we have a moral responsibility and obligation to help protect all living creatures for generations to come.
