35 Years: Why Migration Matters: A Panel Discussion w/ Laurie Goodrich, Allen Fish, & Julie Brown

35 Years: Why Migration Matters: A Panel Discussion w/ Laurie Goodrich, Allen Fish, & Julie Brown

Each fall, raptor organizations across the United States recruit teams of trained volunteers to conduct daily counts of migrating raptors. It's a big endeavor, and it's one that some organizations like HawkWatch International have been doing for the last 35+ years.

But why are so many researchers interested in studying raptors on migration? What do they learn? And why should YOU care?

Join us for this panel discussion with Julie Brown (HMANA), Laurie Goodrich (Hawk Mountain Sanctuary), Allen Fish (Golden Gate Raptor Observatory) to learn more and have your questions answered, as part of our five-week virtual celebration of raptor migration, 35 Years & Counting.
