Raptor ID Workshop

Raptor ID Workshop

Join us for an informative classroom presentation on raptor identification.

Have you ever wanted to sharpen your raptor identification skills?  Come join us at the HawkWatch International office for a classroom presentation on the most common western diurnal raptor species and ways to identify them, including plumage and color forms, age and sex variations, and helpful behavioral clues to sharpen your in-flight identification skills. This class is tailored for hawk watching beginners and intermediate levels, but we welcome advanced birders to join and share their knowledge.

Click here to sign up for our Saturday field trip to put your new ID skills to test.
