These aren't the birds in the park you feed stale bread--these are instinctive killers with talons that can crush bones and eyes as big as their head. We rarely see these illusive creatures of the night, but we hear their hoots in the witching hour. Join HWI's Dave Oleyar for a presentation on owls and their unique adaptations, and come see a real owl up close. After we fill your head with owl facts, we'll take a stroll around the Wheeler Farm trails to listen for owl calls. So bring your hears, bring your eyes, bring your curiosty...and come learn about Owls of the Night!
