Celebrate Spring
And all it brings for raptor conservation

The Birds are Back in Town
…or they will be soon. Although it may not feel like it yet, it’s almost time for migrant raptors to begin another epic journey. In the United States, we begin celebrating spring, and all it brings for raptor conservation, with the spring migration, which we begin monitoring at the Tubac HawkWatch on February 15th each year.
And it only heats up from there. Once the birds are back in town, it’s on to the busy nesting season—and with that comes lots of opportunities for you to connect with conservation. Our education team also fills up fast with programs, so if you are looking for our Raptor Ambassadors to join your event this spring or summer, now is the time to book!
