First Flights of Summer

Join us at festivals, in the field, and in your backyard

Before the First Fall

…young raptors must survive the nestling and fledgling stage of life. HawkWatch International biologists, interns, and community scientists monitor the nesting success of several raptors across North America each summer in an effort to learn more about their populations, many of which are in decline. This important work also offers people like you the opportunity to connect with conservation up close.

Follow us into the field or beat the heat with a program with our Raptor Ambassadors. There is something for everyone. Don’t miss the summer fun!
