This hike is designed to bring together wildlife education, trail experience, and community. We’ll gather at the trailhead from 10:00–11:00 a.m. for the HawkWatch presentation, then head out on the trail together for a guided community hike.

The HawkWatch Raptor Basics presentation from 10- 11 a.m. includes a 45-minute presentation on raptor science and ecology and 15 minutes for questions and photos. Topics can be tailored to learner needs and interests.

This will be followed by the guided hike where we will be on the look out for birds along the way! 🦅

Additional event details, including the final trailhead location, what to bring, and hike logistics, will be sent as we get closer to September 12.
