Birding at the Butte

When we’re asked the best place to hawkwatch, we always have the same answer: wherever you can find migrating hawks. Still, some spots stand out, like the Bonney Butte HawkWatch.

Join the HawkWatch International staff and this year’s crew for a day of Birding at the Butte! You’ll have the chance to practice your ID skills as raptors migrate past iconic Mt. Hood and see LIVE raptors up close and personal. You can even take home a piece of Mt. Hood by purchasing this year’s migration t-shirt, which celebrates 30 years of hawkwatching at Bonney Butte.
