About the Program
This program, carried out by the Proyecto Aguila Poma Noroeste de Argentina team, coordinated by Juan Manuel Grande, aims to better understand Black-and-chestnut Eagle diet, population ecology, and ranging behavior to inform long-term conservation strategies for the species across multiple provinces in Argentina. The program also aims to understand the extent and drivers of human–eagle conflict in Argentina and to reduce persecution through direct engagement and involvement of local communities and stakeholders.
