Dustin grew up in the Midwest and attended Michigan State University; receiving a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife Management, as well as a BA in Political Theory.  After a short stint in Washington D.C., Dustin moved west and began working in wildlife research.  Since starting as a field technician for Hawkwatch International in 2012, Dustin has assisted in projects that cover a range of species and behaviors.  He puts those years of experience and first-hand observations to use by managing field operations and assisting in new research.  Dustin is excited to continue monitoring the raptors that call the Great Basin home and ensuring a strong future for their populations.
