Sammy joined HawkWatch International in April of 2021 as the Donor Engagement Coordinator. Sammy has a B.A. in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. There, her research focused on plant pollinator interactions and science education. Post graduation, she took a naturalist role at a nature center in her home state of Connecticut where she was first introduced to working with raptors. This role cemented Sammy’s passion for connecting with her community and aiding in the conservation of raptor species. She is excited to transition into the fundraising field and to support HawkWatch in its growth.

Outside of work, you can find Sammy keeping honey bees with her Mother, practicing hobbyist entomology, cooking new vegetarian dishes, hiking, or watching campy horror movies.
