Administration & Finance Director

Loralie Jensen

Loralie grew up on a farm in western Colorado where her conservation ethics were born. She worked for the Bureau of Land Management as a Range Assistant and also fought wildland fires. She briefly worked in the health insurance industry before finding her career of choice working for a nonprofit land conservation organization in Grand Junction, Colorado for 11 years. Loralie moved to Utah in 2012 and worked for another local nonprofit group in Salt Lake City before connecting with HawkWatch International.

At HWI, Loralie oversees all aspects of the organization’s financial operations and accounting practices, manages all needs of the organization’s assets and office management, and is the main contact for hiring and HR processes.

Loralie is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys sharing that passion with others. In her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, swimming, biking, running, and spending time with her family, including a very sweet granddaughter and three Labradors!
